The Beverly Hills Monster © is an adaptation of my original family-oriented movie script. Through the haphazard adventure of the two main characters – Billy Steele & Roddy the Movie Monster – the reader enjoys the humorous antics of Billy putting up with Roddy’s hypochondriac behaviors, as the boy concocts ways so to help the monster prop escape the movie studio.

How does Billy accomplish this seemingly insurmountable task?

While wandering the movie studio lot where his actress mother works, Billy finds a sound stage where a monster movie is being made – and he sneaks into the huge building. Without spoiling your fun of discovery, Billy accidentally encounters a large monster prop and magically brings it to life!

Billy quickly learns from the chatty hyperactive prop, that Roddy dislikes portraying evil movie monsters, and eagerly wishes to escape the studio so to find a secluded hiding place where he can live a peaceful and non-menacing life.

BUT – the monster movie cannot be completed without its large menacing prop, so, Billy must help Roddy avoid capture by the monster’s neurotic movie director and Billy’s mother’s archenemy studio actress. Throughout their helter-skelter antics, Billy and Roddy experience – as does the reader – interactions between different cultural and ethnic groups.

Fortunately, everything works out for the best for our heroes in this topsy-turvy adventure and – its fascinating conclusion – awaits your discovery!
